Disappointing Banh Mi Experience
I wanted to like this place, but it really fell short in every margin. I ordered the crispy porkbelly, which came out to a whopping $22 due to a mandatory 15% service charge. I've seen that for dine-in restaurants, but a take-out sandwich shop? This is already on top of it selling banh mi, a historically cheaper sandwich. The crispy porkbelly, even for porkbelly, was nauseatingly salty and I had a hard time finishing it. The size was pretty small in comparison to most Banh Mi you can get for a third of the price, and the flavors were nothing special. Go somewhere else like Little Saigon if you can.

Most Elevated Banh Mi Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional! I had the most elevated Banh Mi in the city. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients were super fresh and premium, making for an outstanding meal. The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and there was no wait time. Parking was also a breeze with plenty of free street parking available. I highly recommend this place, especially for vegetarians!

Delicious Banh Mi, Slow Service
My experience at this restaurant involved enjoying a dense banh mi with flavorful sauce and a crispy baguette. However, the baguette was a bit on the smaller side, so for those who are very hungry, you might want to consider getting two. The service was notably slow; it took 25 minutes to purchase 5 banh mi, averaging 5 minutes per banh mi, which I found unacceptable for speed. The space is spacious and easy to find, though parking could be challenging on a busy day. The staff were courteous and nice. I would recommend coming here if you are not pressed for time and not too hungry, otherwise, it might be best to pass.

Best Banh Mi, But Service Charge Questionable
Although expensive, the banh mi are the best. However, I was surprised to see a 15% service charge added for a takeaway order. Since I simply walked up to the counter to place my order and there was no waiter involved, this seemed unusual.

Elegant Mackerel Sandwich - Worth the Price
Other reviewers are complaining about the cost, but honestly, if you care about quality ingredients and creative, precise execution, this place is for you. The mackerel sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had. If a sandwich can be described as “elegant, ” it’s this one. The service and atmosphere were both excellent (5/5).
