Authentic Italian Pasta and Pizza
My experience at BOTTEGA was exceptional. If you have an Italian friend who complains that "nobody makes pasta like nonna, " bring them here and watch them go silent. BOTTEGA is that good. It's an amazing late-night spot – the kind of place where you come for "a quick bite" and end up closing the place down. The pizza hits perfectly after midnight, and the tiramisu? Straight up grandma-level magic. I don’t know what kind of espresso sorcery they use, but I left considering adoption into an Italian family. I would give six stars if I could – five for the food, and one extra for saving my friendship with my picky Italian buddy. 🇮🇹🍝🍷

Shocking Service, Simple Food
My experience at this restaurant was quite shocking, primarily due to the service. The waiter brought the appetizer and pasta at the same time, just a minute after ordering, which made me wonder if it was microwaved 🤔. One drink was forgotten, and when I asked to cancel it since it wouldn't make sense at the end of the meal, it was brought anyway. To add to the rush, I was asked twice if we needed boxes while we were still eating, making it feel like a drive-through fast food place 😒. The pressure to leave was evident when we were asked to pay twice, with the excuse of a line waiting, and the dessert menu was never offered. This made me question if the staff disliked us and wanted us gone quickly. The food was very simple, comparable to microwaved pasta at home with a dash of sauce. The glass also smelled of chlorine. The music was so loud, it felt like a club, making conversation difficult. It seems the establishment doesn't care about long-term reputation, perhaps targeting tourists. I'm left with many questions, especially seeing so many positive reviews 😏 – are they fake? Key aspects: - Service speed: Extremely fast, felt rushed. - Service attention: Forgetful and intrusive. - Food simplicity: Basic and uninspired. - Glass cleanliness: Smelled of chlorine. - Music volume: Very loud, like a club.

Long Wait, Good Food and Service
Although we had a reservation, we had to wait 45 minutes to get our table ready. I expected a gesture to make up for it, but that didn’t happen. Other than that, the food and service after being seated were good.
