Incredible Post-Wedding Lunch at B Star!
My husband and I celebrated our post-wedding lunch at B Star. We rented out their beautiful patio in the back. Their team was so easy and incredible to work with (extra shout-out to Diane), and all of our guests raved about the drinks and the food. Highly recommend working with them for any events or special occasions!

Mixed Experience: Great Service, Questionable Food Accuracy
I visited this restaurant specifically for the tea leaf salad and samosa soup. The salad was just okay, mostly lettuce and not particularly exciting. The real issue arose with the samosa soup, which unexpectedly contained meat, despite being ordered as vegan. The staff, however, were absolute gems. They promptly involved the manager, who explained that meat filling sometimes "accidentally" gets into the vegan soup. They were apologetic and remade the soup to be vegan. As a gesture, they also brought out free vegan Brussels sprouts, which surprisingly became the highlight of the meal. Overall, the service was exceptional (10/10), but the food quality was disappointing (4/10), and the accuracy of ingredients was questionable. It was a meal of lovely people, average flavors, and an unexpected "guess that protein" game.

Excellent Food and Service, Some Decline
We have been dining at B-Star since it opened. My experience has been consistently positive, particularly with the food, which is excellent. My favorite is the Miso fish with ginger noodles; it's delicate and exquisite. The tea leaf salad used to be my favorite, but since COVID, it has gone downhill. However, there are plenty of other very good choices. The happy hour is worthwhile if you can arrive early enough. The service is always efficient and friendly. Mark, the manager, handles every obstacle very well. The interior is pleasant.
