Terrible Chicken Wings, Avoid!
I visited Admiral Pub based on a recommendation for the "best chicken wings in West Seattle" from the West Seattle subreddit. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive, and I found the chicken wings to be GARBAGE. They arrived steaming and slimy, as if they had been microwaved. The buffalo sauce had an unpleasant taste, reminiscent of cleaning fluid, and the chicken itself seemed old and possibly reheated. The wings were served with only a single side of watery blue cheese sauce, lacking the usual accompaniments like celery or carrots. While the portion size of a dozen large wings for $17 seemed like a good value, the quality made them inedible. I could only manage to eat four before giving up. These wings would only be acceptable in a very casual, low-expectation setting, not in a city like Seattle in 2025. I'm seeking big crispy delicious chicken wings, and it's disappointing how difficult that seems to be to find here.

Great Dive Bar with Fun and Food
My experience at this dive bar was fantastic! It's a great place to watch a game, with plenty of screens. They have a lot to do, including pinball and video games. I highly recommend trying Billy's Famous Chicken Wings; they are a huge portion of meaty, brined wings. The atmosphere was rated a 4, and the service was a perfect 5. The food also received a 4. It was a great lunch spot with no wait time.
