Shady Billing Practices Ruined Our Visit
Beware of this place, especially if going in a large group. My family visited on a Saturday evening for drinks and snacks as part of a wedding celebration. Despite having a reservation and the restaurant being mostly empty, our server, Jacqueline S. , seemed put off by our large group. Later, she presented a bill for $70 that a different group had forgotten to pay. Feeling obligated, I paid it and added a 20% tip. Upon checking the receipt the next day, I discovered an 18% gratuity had already been included, and Jacqueline had not mentioned it. This resulted in me tipping close to 40% for a meal I didn't eat. Several others in my party also realized they had double-tipped due to the server's quick presentation of the tablet and the lack of transparency about the pre-included gratuity. While including gratuity for large parties is normal, failing to mention it and then offering a full tipping screen is shady. On a positive note, the DJ played great music and seemed to be having fun.

Beautiful Patio, But Rat Problem
I recently had dinner and drinks at 620 Jones with friends. The outdoor patio is beautifully designed with great lighting and greenery, honestly one of the nicest outdoor spaces I’ve seen. The Double Pepperoni Pizza was excellent with a perfectly crispy crust and generous toppings; it was just really solid. The Crispy Cauliflower was more forgettable, though the hot honey helped. The major issue? The Tenderloin location. I spotted a rat running through the patio during our meal, which pretty much killed the vibe. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it’s hard to ignore. The food and ambiance are there, but the neighborhood is a real problem. I’d consider going back for takeout or indoor seating, but probably won’t be returning to that patio.

Bartender's Bad Attitude Ruined Experience
My experience at this restaurant was significantly impacted by the service provided by a bartender with a beard. He was described as a "mean mean man with a broken heart. " The reviewer suggested he seek therapy or quit if he doesn't want to be a bartender, rather than taking his issues out on paying customers. The food and overall experience received a low rating of 1.

Drag Brunch: Amazing Performers, Terrible Food & Service
My experience at this restaurant for the drag brunch was a stark contrast between the performers and the rest of the dining experience. While the performers were amazing and the absolute highlight, my food and service were an absolute disaster. I ordered the smash burger, which was served partially raw and inedible. The patty was pink and undercooked in some spots and gray in others, leading to immediate nausea and vomiting. When my friends informed the server, she became defensive and offered to 'ask the cook. ' Upon my return, still visibly sick, she approached me aggressively, asking if I wanted something else. When I declined and explained I had just thrown up, her response was dismissive: 'Well, I don’t know what you want, that’s how we cook our burgers here—do you want a club soda or something? ' There was no apology, no accountability, and nothing but attitude. To make matters worse, the server was overheard talking badly about us, accusing us of seeking a free meal, despite our large tab and generous tips for the performers. The bill also included a 20% automatic gratuity and a charge for bread and butter we never received. This turned a potentially fun Sunday brunch into a humiliating and upsetting experience. The restaurant staff and management should be ashamed of how this was handled. I will never return and strongly advise others to think twice before dining here.
