Noodles good, broth needs work
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The noodles were lovely and hand-pulled, which was a definite highlight. However, the broth itself could have been more flavorful, and I felt the ingredients could have been more generous. While the noodles were enjoyable, the overall dish lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for.

Beef Noodle Soup: Large Portions, Off Noodles
My experience at this restaurant involved trying their beef noodle soup. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. The noodles seemed a bit off, which was a downside. However, the large portions were definitely a positive aspect of the meal.

Overpriced and Inauthentic Chinese Food
I absolutely do NOT recommend this restaurant. My experience was that it is overpriced and completely unauthentic. They claim to be the “King of Noodle, ” but the experience was nothing like real Chinese food. Shockingly, the chef is not even Chinese; he’s Mexican. The noodles I ordered were actually sweet, which I found absurd as I am from China and have never encountered noodles with sugar. When I asked the server, she confirmed it was intentional. The dish was neither authentic nor enjoyable—just a confusing, poorly executed imitation. For a successful Chinese restaurant, I believe they should hire professional Chinese chefs who understand the cuisine, rather than someone creating a strange, inauthentic version that insults customers. Given the price and lack of authenticity, this place is unacceptable. Please be aware before wasting your money here.

Excellent Food, Must-Try Dishes
My experience at the restaurant was defined by its excellent food. For my go-to orders, I highly recommend the mala fried chicken, dandan noodles, Napa cabbage and pork dumplings in chili oil, and the spicy beef soup.

Hidden Gem in the Sunset District
My experience at this restaurant was great. I visited on a Tuesday around 5 pm and there was no waiting for a table as plenty of seats were available. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, which was 💋 numbing – my kind of style! We also got a non-spicy version, pork & corn dumplings, and a cucumber appetizer. The dumplings had a thin, flavorful wrapper, and the cucumber appetizer was delicious and cooling. It's a nice hole in the wall place that SF has hidden away in the Sunset District.
