Delicious Food and Great Experience
My experience at this restaurant was lovely and yummy. I recall visiting when it was located in Fremont. The flaming cheese was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the avogolemeno soup. The Souvlaki and gyro meat were amazing, and their baklava is my favorite.

Kostas Opa: A Greek Gem Since 1981
Kostas Opa is truly the best Greek restaurant you'll ever encounter, short of actually going to Greece 😉. My family has been a loyal patron for years, since 1981! We've celebrated countless special occasions here, including anniversaries, birthdays, daddy-daughter dates, prom dinners, and Mother's Day, not to mention spontaneous visits 'just because'. We have never been disappointed. I highly suggest trying the Saganaki, Souvlaki, and of course, the best Baklava you'll ever have. While I could rave about many more wonderful things, I'll let the service, food, and vibe speak for themselves. Remember to say 'OPA! ' when the cheese is on fire!

Spectacular Greek Food and Atmosphere!
My experience at Kostas Opa was absolutely MA. ZING. If you appreciate garlic and lemon, you're in for a treat. I had a meal so spectacular, I devoured the appetizer, entree, and dessert, each dish more delicious than the last. The atmosphere is like dining inside a time capsule, filled with antique Greek items adorning every surface, offering a delightful surprise around every corner. The staff was incredible, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was fabulous, offering authentic comfort food with classic Mediterranean flavors that will leave you full and happy. My favorite was the saganaki appetizer; a slab of cheese deep-fried, set on fire tableside, doused with lemon juice, and eaten with pita. OPA!

Balanced Meal, Great Value!
I definitely want to go back. For $20-$26, you get a very balanced meal. It includes salad, soup, and roasted vegetables (more like a starch), with some meat. Unlike most restaurant dishes, I didn't experience any heartburn. I felt well-fed and full, but not stuffed. I'm so glad there's more food like this in the neighborhood now.

Good Food, Quiet Restaurant
This place really should be busier than it is. The food is good and authentic, and the portions are good sized. Meals come with both soup and salad. The restaurant is large but was pretty much empty. The server seemed new but was friendly and attentive. I was too full after dinner to try dessert, but there were several to pick from. There are some vegetarian options, but it would be nice to see more.
