Mixed Feelings About Jeepney Cap Hill
I was craving Filipino food and was super excited to try Jeepney Cap Hill. However, the prices were pretty high. Unfortunately, the lumpia was incredibly salty with barely any filling, and the Adobo was also super dry and salty. On a positive note, the dessert - ube shortbread and turon was not bad!

Okay Experience, Great Service
My experience at the restaurant was okay. The service truly went above and beyond to fulfill my order. I ordered the Lumpia, which was just okay. I used the walk-up window for service. Parking was a bit uncertain, appearing to be a mix of permit and paid street parking, but I wasn't sure as it was late and there was no line.

Disappointing Meal, Not Like Before
My experience on 10/7/22 was very disappointing. I was served boiled chicken over rice porridge instead of adobo, and it had no flavor at all. The rice was overcooked, resembling oatmeal. It seems like there might be new owners, as this is nothing like the restaurant used to be. If they can't get the rice right, I question the quality of the rest of the menu. I wouldn't eat here anymore.

Disappointing Takeout Experience
I used to go here a lot for takeout, but tonight's order was not very good. Both the chicken adobo and lumpia tasted very bland. The rice in the adobo was overcooked and very mushy. The lumpia was not wrapped well and was coming apart. I really dislike that you have to tip when you order, as I would not have tipped for this order at all.

Mixed Feelings on Food and Changes
This was a great restaurant, and for the most part, the people and the food were great. However, many people have an issue with the weird hours this place is open and the price of the food. I understand the pandemic hit hard and it's tough to run a restaurant, but there are definitely things to critique. The food is good, but the portions are small for the price. They are also undergoing a menu change at the end of August. They changed the vegan lumpia to only have vegetables (tasted like a spring roll) and are getting rid of the adobo burger : (. The current menu lacks any lumpia besides the new vegetable one, no dessert, and no potatoes. I thought the lumpia was a favorite? I used to visit every now and then because we love the lumpia, but I don't know how often I'll visit after the change. Maybe it will be good though, I can update later. This place was great, sad to see a decline because of the pandemic or other issues : (. If you have the money, it's a good place to support!
