~~~Review from a non food influencer with nothing to gain~~~ I'd usually travel to OC/LA/Vegas . Finally a Chubby Concept here in my home town of San Diego! Gone are the days of "settling" at another low quality hot pot places and wishing we were eating at a chubby owned concept.
As per usual with my visits to chubby. I always get the diamond tier. Chubby Club Plus membership.
Recommended / worth it. Ambiance/decor is nice, esp the exterior. Interior is a bit tight, by who cares.
Servers are elite. Nuff said. The hiring team clearly knows what they're doing.
(This is consistent at chubby cattle bbq, chubby hot pot, wagyu factory hot pot, wagyu factory bbq, mikiya Shabu house, etc) PREMIUM: wagyu bone marrow / wagyu nigiri / bluefin hand roll with uni / amaebi / wagyu tartare. Is ayce. Premium stuff.

That I personally won't bother with anymore. Once you've had "the good stuff", the other places all seem like child's play. Esp a good laugh when the competition charges per plate of a5 wagyu.
