Value (3.8 out of 10)

mentioned by 14% of the guests

When it comes to value, things are a bit of a puzzle here. While the overall score for this aspect is a rather poor 3.8, customer satisfaction surprisingly soars to an excellent 9.1! One diner, focusing on the price, felt it was a good deal for three people, including drinks, even with a slight wait.

This positive take, however, is based on just 1 of the 11 opinions shared. However, the majority of the 7 negative opinions paint a different picture. Many found the price per dish excessive, with food being overpriced and not offering much money for what you get.

Concerns were also raised about profit margins and unexpected charges, like for a birthday brownie or items that should have been included.

Exceptional Service and Delicious Food!
My experience at this restaurant was outstanding from start to finish. I encountered a minor issue when trying to place a reservation, but the staff was incredibly courteous and accommodating when I called. Upon arrival, despite the restaurant being extremely busy, they managed everything with impressive organization and pleasantness. Our waiter was attentive, and the support staff was equally on point. We savored the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and Truffle Cavatelli, both of which were cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely out of this world.

Absolutely Amazing Prime Rib Dip!
We visited on a Sunday in October without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to only wait 20 minutes for a table! The food, service, and vibes were amazing! We started with the zucchini fries, which were incredible, though a generous portion for two. For our mains, we enjoyed the vodka rigatoni, but the absolute star of the show was the prime rib dip – truly the best sandwich I've ever had! I would return again and again just for that. Despite being very full, we indulged in dessert, the strawberries & cream, which was another winner. I visited with my husband while traveling from Australia, and while it's a great spot for couples, it would also be a fun place for a girls brunch. The cocktails were also so good!

Great Food, Fun Vibe, Worth the Crowd
My experience at this restaurant on Chestnut Street was very positive. I really liked the great salad and pizza. The atmosphere and vibe were very fun, complemented by really good service. It’s important to note that the place is always crowded, so planning a visit during the week or making a reservation is advisable if you don't want to wait. I recommend this place!

Wonderful Experience with Brittney!
My friends and I visited LOJ’s on a bachelorette trip and lucked out with a reservation. The food was great, but what truly made our experience was our wonderful waitress, Brittney. Upon being seated, she greeted us and asked each one of our names. All evening, she spoke to us using our names, which made the dinner feel so personal. She was so kind and joyful, and I hope everyone gets to meet Brittney.
