Value (4.5 out of 10)

mentioned by 11% of the guests

When it comes to value, its a bit of a mixed bag, but some diners found pleasant surprises. Despite a rather poor customer satisfaction of 23.5% and an average score of 4.5, a few folks really appreciated the overall "price" and "price per person. " They mentioned getting a full dinner with drinks and an app for under $100, or a satisfying lunch for $10-20, feeling it was a good deal, as noted in 4 positive comments.

However, the majority of the 17 total comments, with 10 leaning negative, painted a different picture. Many felt the "food was overpriced" and that the "value for the price" simply wasnt there. Terms like not cheap, extremely expensive, and high prices popped up frequently, with some even reporting being charged more than the menu price.

It seems the cost can be a significant hurdle for many.

Billing and Service Issues
My experience at this restaurant involved a billing discrepancy and very slow service. I ordered a 0. 3l draft beer, but was charged for a 0. 4l beer, which isn't even an option on the menu. This resulted in a $3 overcharge compared to the menu price. Additionally, the service was really really slow, even for a Friday night, suggesting the restaurant was short staffed.

Authentic German Food and Perfect Beer
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was good and authentic. I particularly enjoyed the Sauerkraut and currywurst, which were done just right. Paired with their beer, it was a perfect combination. To top it off, I indulged in an apple strudel at the end. The service and atmosphere were rated a perfect 5, although the noise level was very loud, making it hard to hear.
