How are the prices at Taste of Fusion?

You’re looking at roughly 46 per person – reported by 38 diners. That puts it in the $41–$50 category. For a Chinese Restaurant, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

Looking at what people actually spend, it’s quite a mix! While the average is 46, we see a good number of diners spending less, especially in the $21–$30 range, but also a fair few going for a more premium experience, even above 101 $. This suggests a pretty wide spread of dining options, from more casual to quite special.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 38 reviews.

How this Chinese Restaurant’s value for money compares to similar spots in San Francisco.

Considering the diverse offerings of Chinese cuisine in San Francisco, we feel that 46 per person is a fair price for a quality experience. Its a good spot if youre looking for something a bit more special than a quick bite, without breaking the bank.

Surprisingly Good Midweek Lunch Find
My experience during a midweek late lunch was a surprisingly good find. We thoroughly enjoyed the dim sum, with the har gow being particularly noteworthy for its brimming prawns. The service was super, provided by a couple of lovely women. We are eager to try it again.

Disappointing Lunch Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The special lunch menu with affordable prices that was displayed on the window was not offered when I dined in. The food was neither authentic nor fusion. I will not be coming back.

Taste of Fusion: Exceptional Dim Sum Experience
My experience at Taste of Fusion was fantastic, serving some of the best dim sum I've ever had. Every dish we tried was amazing, from the classics to the more unique offerings. The BBQ pork puff buns were an absolute standout, offering a perfect balance of sweet and savory. We also enjoyed the har gow, sui mai, steamed meatball, soup dumplings, beef chow fun, pork spare ribs, and Portuguese egg tarts – everything was delicious. The flavors were spot on, the textures were just right, and the quality of ingredients truly shone through. If you're seeking top-tier dim sum, I highly recommend Taste of Fusion. I can't wait to go back!

Slow Service and Questionable Ethics
My recent dining experience at Taste of Fusion was unfortunately unsatisfactory. While the food was acceptable, the service was shockingly slow. We waited over 40 minutes for our first dish, and many other customers appeared equally frustrated by the unreasonable wait times. For a Chinese restaurant, where speed is usually valued, this was unacceptable; they clearly need more kitchen staff. The most disappointing aspect was the captain's questionable ethical behavior. After our meal, we saw other tables receiving a soup-like dessert. When we inquired, the captain claimed they were running low and would see if they could spare some. Later, our waiter asked if our portion was sufficient and offered more, a blatant contradiction that felt dismissive and dishonest. Overall, incredibly slow service and questionable staff behavior marred my visit, embodying some negative stereotypes of Chinese-run establishments. Good luck if you dine here; you'll need it.
