New Owners Revitalize Classic Diner
My experience at this classic diner, which has an old-school feel, has been completely transformed by the new owners. Previously, the service was a major issue; the old owners were grumpy and made mistakes with my orders three times in a row, leading me to stop visiting. Additionally, the food had a similar, off-putting flavor.
While the noodle soups were always decent, an incident where I received Beef Udon instead of the Veggie Udon I ordered was the final straw, especially since the beef was awful. However, speaking with the new owners, I can tell they are committed to elevating the food, and they are indeed succeeding. I've returned to being a regular.
Some recent favorites include the BLT with nice crispy thin bacon (they laugh when I ask for it on white, but I'm traditional), the French Fries which have been really good recently, the Steak & Arugula salad (a daily special) which was killer, and the Pesto Chicken sandwich which was excellent.

New Owner, Horrible Chicken Fried Rice
