Fantastic Lunch Buffet Value!
My second visit to Apna Chulha, this time to experience their lunch buffet with my parents. We all had a great time and left feeling very full. For approximately $20 per person (before tip and tax), it's an unbeatable deal and a great affordable lunch in SF.
The buffet offered a wide variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the naan was served fresh and hot to our table. Our server, Babu, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. It was heartwarming to see him pass out candy to children from a local daycare who were trick-or-treating, showcasing the business's support for the community.
I highly recommend trying their lunch buffet! Our previous dinner experience was also fantastic.

I dropped by for the Sunday buffet and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious and well lit, with nice decor. Our waiter was incredibly courteous and welcoming, even offering us complimentary masala chai.
The buffet offered a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. My personal favorites were the chicken curry, potato-vegetable curry, and naan. While the variety wasn't extensive, there were certainly enough choices to sample.
The desserts were on point, with the gulab jamun and kheer being particularly fantastic. Considering the reasonable price point of $18-19, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
