Delicious Platanos and Tamales!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the platanos and tamales, and they were absolutely delicious. The serving of platanos was huge, so much so that I even had them for breakfast the next day. The service was both quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Consistent Flavors, Generous Portions
As I walked to an old neighborhood familiar with my host and friend Mauricio, we shared anecdotal stories of growing up in the Mission. It's been around for some time, and if they've changed anything, it's mostly some of the service staff. But their recipe and their flavors are constant and predictively good. If you enjoy pupusas, they have a nice plate that gives you all that you might want, including rice and beans! Come enjoy the flavors of El Salvador and come prepared to eat plenty because they have nice portions, and you won't settle for just 2. #TheBrokerWithAHeart

New Favorite Spot for Delicious Pupusas!
This is my new favorite restaurant in the area! I was incredibly impressed with the food, finding everything delicious. Specifically, the pupusas, chile relleno, and burritos were standouts. The pupusas are also very affordable, and all the other prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service was also a perfect 5. It's a quiet place, making it easy to talk. While wheelchair accessibility is good with no significant steps or ramps, the front door could be powered.

Authenticity Lacking, Cash Only
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't authentic Salvadoran cuisine. I suspect the waiter wasn't Salvadoran either, as he seemed unsure about the type of pupusa I had ordered. For breakfast, we were given Mexican tortillas, and to top it off, they only accept cash.

Tasty Pupusas, Great Service, Long Wait
The food is tasty, although they change the recipes a bit. For example, the pupusa salsa isn't traditional, but the flavor of the pupusas themselves makes up for it 🥰. The customer service is 10 out of 10. Every time I've visited, it's always full, so if you plan to go, you need to be prepared to wait 25 to 30 minutes for your food 🥰.
