Brisket is a must-try!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The briskets were the absolute star of the show, and I highly recommend not skipping out on the other dishes because they were all so good. I was also advised to try the batagor and rujak slaw, which were excellent vegetarian options that I definitely won't regret trying. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service also received a perfect 5. For dinner, the noise level was moderate, and the overall food quality was a 5.

Creative Indonesian Flavors with a Texan Twist
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful exploration of Indonesian flavors with a creative Texan twist. The Dyno BBQ was an absolute must-try! While the Nasi Goreng and Mac Goreng were just okay, likely better if made fresh rather than buffet-style, the Rujak Slaw, Rendang with kale, Sate Ayam, and Batagor were all standouts and highly recommended. I loved seeing the innovative fusion of Indonesian tastes with a Texan influence. The setting was perfect, offering a beautiful view from Chase Center overlooking the bay. Enjoying BBQ with the sun on my face and the signature San Francisco breeze was an unbeatable experience.

Excellent BBQ with a Malaysian Twist
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I enjoyed the very good BBQ, which had a unique Malaysian twist. The portions were generous, with loads of beef and a bit of chicken. For obvious reasons, there was no pork. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the food was outstanding.

Best BBQ in the City!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The BBQ was hands down the best in the city. The meat was incredibly tender, literally falling off the bone. The sauces were perfectly balanced and on point. Additionally, the appetizers were amazingly good. The food quality was a clear 5 out of 5, and the service and atmosphere also received a perfect 5. It's suitable for all group sizes and was a great choice for dinner.

Mixed Experience with Brisket Shining
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The brisket was great, but unfortunately, the ayam bakar and mac goreng were very bland and cold. The egg rolls were nothing special. On the service front, the staff were inattentive and seemed lost. Overall, I found the experience to be of questionable worth for your money.

Amazing BBQ and Indonesian Food
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be arguably the best BBQ in the Bay Area. In addition to the excellent BBQ, the Indonesian dishes were equally amazing. The food quality was clearly a highlight, as reflected in the perfect scores for food and atmosphere.

Disappointing BBQ Experience
I was excited to try Fikscue, as Mission Bay finally has a BBQ spot, but my visit fell short. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and when I walked in, all three staff members made eye contact but didn’t greet or acknowledge me, which felt awkward and unwelcoming. The rendang and sate ayam plates arrived lukewarm, the fried rice was overly salty, and some of the sides didn’t taste fresh.

Great Food, High Prices at Chase Center
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with standout dishes earning high marks. I gave 4. 5 stars for the beef rib, mac goreng, and cendol. The brisket also received 4 stars, though I found it to be on the dry side and would request a half lean/half fatty cut next time. The portion sizes are substantial: one slice of brisket is about 1/4 pound, and a single rib is half- to 3/4 pound. However, be aware that the meat/bone ratio on the beef ribs is lower than typical BBQ pork ribs, which can make the meal expensive quickly. The prices were definitely high, but this is expected given the location at the Chase Center. Overall, I'm rounding up my experience to 5 stars.

Mixed Feelings on Expensive Alameda Eats
My experience at this restaurant was quite mixed. The food is pretty expensive, and while some items were great, others were terrible. Despite the hype in Alameda, I've never encountered a line here, even during afternoons. The actual Indonesian food was disappointing; the nasi goreng was awful, and the beef cheeks were tough and dry. On the positive side, the Dino ribs, the chicken (though slightly dry), and the potato salad were good. I'm honestly surprised they are profitable in SF at all.
