Double Decker offers a straightforward approach to casual dining, primarily known for its satisfying fare. Many patrons appreciate the flavorful burgers and well-prepared fries, often highlighting the quality of the main dishes.

It’s a spot where the food generally hits the mark for those seeking a hearty meal. However, the experience isn’t without its caveats.

The ambience often receives comments about being dated, and seating can be quite limited. While the food is a draw, these aspects might temper expectations for a comfortable dine-in experience.

Food (7 out of 10)

mentioned by 97% of the guests

When it comes to the food, this spot scores a 7, which is pretty good, though customer satisfaction sits at a more mixed 67.8%. Based on 174 comments, with 118 positive remarks versus 38 negative ones, many diners rave about the delicious burgers, tasty wings, and fresh ingredients. The garlic fries and sweet potato fries also get a lot of love for their flavor and quality.

However, that mixed satisfaction isn't without reason. Some experiences point to bland flavors, soggy fries, and even issues with cross-contamination. While many enjoy the burgers, some found them inconsistent or lacking salt, and specific items like certain milkshakes or the Hawaiian burger with spoiled pineapple left a less-than-stellar impression.

Great Burger and Milkshake!
We came here by chance while waiting for my mother-in-law’s medical appointment to finish. We ordered the California Burger, 3 Wings (mild sauce) with fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The food was great. The burger was juicy and not salty compared to other burgers (so if you’re into “unsalted” or lightly salted patties, this is the burger for you). I’d like it better a little bit more salty than it originally is but still good. The wings are just the classic ones you can eat and you can choose from different kinds of sauces. They use Mitchell ice cream so you can already expect the taste of the milkshake, not so sweet with bits of strawberries. The food is great since it’s hot and fresh off the grill. It has a small seating capacity (3 small tables inside that can seat 2 per table and 2 tables outside which can seat about 4 per table). Overall, a good place to eat.

Perfectly Juicy and Greasy Cheeseburger
I stumbled upon this place by chance and what a great cheeseburger! As others have said, it’s a hole-in-the-wall type of place. The burger strikes the perfect balance between juicy and greasy. It was very flavorful and really hit the spot. It's the art of a simple meal… nothing more, nothing less, just perfection.
