Comments: One of us has a daughter who, as a kindergartener, was told by an evil kindergartener that eggs were bad (we won't tell you exactly what she was told, but she stopped eating eggs entirely). Now as a college student, she will eat eggs occasionally. Make that egg occasionally – she will only eat one.

This pan is perfect. You can fit two eggs in it, but it is ideal for one. You can cook without butter or oil. If you have an electric stove where you can't adjust the size of the burner, you are quite likely going to be making heat where the pan is not. But it works on gas, electric, ceramic, or halogen surfaces.

The pan is 99% recycled aluminum, coated with a nonstick ceramic surface. The handle is swathed in silicone, although it will still get hot. It does not include PTFE or PFOA. Obviously the pan can do more than eggs.

The evil kindergartener is by some fluke at the same small college. We don't know if she has resumed eating egg….
