Ingredients: 4 thick slices of bacon, diced
Instructions: 1. Sauté bacon in a large skillet until evenly browned. Drain, but reserve 2 Tbsp drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. 2. Sauté onions in reserved bacon drippings until clear. Return crumbled bacon to skillet. 3. Stir in sour cream, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 4. Pour filling into pie crust. 5. Sprinkle with caraway seeds, if you wish. 6. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 1 hour, or until onions are golden brown. Yield: Makes 6-8 servings
