Coca-Cola Marinade for Flank Steak

Chef Karen Putman has won hundreds of barbecue ribbons and trophies. She marinates flank steak with this recipe, so try it with the cut of your choice.

Ingredients:

1 quart Coca-Cola
2 cups oil
2 cups vinegar
6 cloves garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Combine all of the ingredients in a glass jar. Mix well and store in the refrigerator.

Yield: Makes 2 quarts
