Yes. (Sheesh.)

Many/most traditional lasagne recipes include a béchamel sauce, or more correctly, a besamella sauce (since lasagne is Italian and not French (hoping that that comment wasn't too glib)), as do many casseroles. But the white sauce does not present an impediment to freezing or enjoying the finished dish once cooked.

Many people - including some who have eaten at our table - consider glib to be what we do best. We're not necessarily proud of it, but there you are....
