Marinating & Roasting a Beef Tenderloin

 To roast a beef tenderloin, how long on each side, and what do you marinate it in?

 What flavors do you like? You can prepare a beef tenderloin very simply by just rubbing it with garlic and sprinkling it with pepper. Add a tablespoon of oil to the roasting pan on the stovetop and brown the meat on all sides. Then pop it into a 500°F oven (260°C), and roast for 25 to 35 minutes, turning it over every 8 to 10 minutes. For rare, the internal temperature should reach 130°F (55°C); for medium rare, 140°F (60°C).
